3 x Bardolino ‘Chiaretto’ Rosato (Organic), Gorgo, Italy2019
This is a really fun, fresh and fruity rose from the Veneto region. Notes of red cherries, strawberries and raspberries balanced with acrisp acidity. Sit back and enjoy it on its own in the English sunshine or vreally good with cold meats from Sam’s Larder and other picnic goodies.
3 x Picpoul ‘Sel et de Sable’ 2019
Piquepoul is one of the oldest grapes from the Languedoc. This wine has a bright straw yellow colour. Dry and refreshing and a distinctive mineral edge. I thoroughly recommend with 12 of my favourite Carlingford Lough oysters.
3 x Rias Baixas Albarino, Condes de Albarei 2019
I love the lively freshness, dry minerality and the creamy finish. High acidity makes it a perfect match for shellfish. I would enjoy thisone with one of our seafood platters or whole lobster.
3 x Pinotage, ‘Tread Lightly’, Backsberg Estate Cellars,Paarl
I am a big fan of South Africa’s signature grape and always encourage people to try it. This is easy drinking, well balanced with fabulous fresh flavours. Perfect with some roast spring lamb or other bbq meat.
